Use the lighter flywheel

Smooth takeoffs really difficult with l/w flywheel?

What mnc said. That might be way too light... Might be great for the track but your revs will drop much faster, making daily driving a pain. Don't go too light...

Lightweight flywheel isn't hard to live with on a daily at all.

I have a lightweight flywheel + 4.9 FD on my daily and every time I go to work I go through peak hour city traffic - all good so far.

actualy im stuck with the 5.6kg one cos they already ordered it and its on its way but oh well it still should be alot lighter then the standard one

I find it funny though, most people say don't get the lightened flywheel because it's soooo haard to drive, yet they've never driven a car with one. (not saying the above said so, but it happens)

I put my conclusions down to the fact that gran turismo says so... haha.

Honestly though, I asked the same question as you years ago, most people on my forum said it will be too light and I said F em, got it, LOVED it.

With an engine that pulls good low torque, lighter flywheel is good but with piss weak torque, it is a pain to drive in heavy traffic.

traffic jam uphill is no fun at all.

also you will have to do super quick change everytime or the rev drops too low and u need to rev it up with throttle for smooth change.

lighter the better. don't worry about what the light weight haters are saying, they must be a little special to find driving with a lightweight flywheel anymore difficult...
