Need help with idling , my car is idling like shit

Hey guys im sure some of u have had this problem before or not im not sure . Anyways my car is idling like shit , the revs go up and down non stop . Please if u know how i can fix it tell me if u dont mind , coz i have had too much of this shit lol

hey bud, refer to this link. had this problem with my d series awhile ago. im sure with the b18 the basics of it will stay the same.

i will add after having got a new throttle body from the wreckers, after a couple of months my revs started going crazy at idle again. eventually diagnosed a blockage in one of the vacuum lines which was causing the fluctuating idle.

good luck! one of the most annoying issues! easy solve.

check all breather hoses are in properly even the ones behind the IM, if still idling rough maybe re-tune ur TPS...

my car was also doing that and it was as simple as a breather on my Intake manifold

thank you every body , you guys awsome . but i have to say this was a **** of a job cleaned every single thing that had something to do with it , it was dirty as **** cleaned it all with throttle body cleaner and wires with contac cleaner its running really good and feels way faster . if it happens again its going to high power .

I did mine again today plus a couple of other little things,then went to Tim's (ekcoupe's) house and did his :)

I did this today,made sure it opens at 100% @ WOT (wide Open Throttle),I also filed the butterfly plate to a sharp edge.Just the side that points into the oncoming air.

What's not said in that thread is U need to calibrate the voltage on the tps after ya done - see above link.

My car is going just awesome,really is.

I will update this stuff in the calibrating the voltage on the tps thread.
