Completely forgot about it, i was shattered. Saw about 8 AE86's at the Mobile down on the Ring road at about 1:00 am, and then it just hit me. Theres always a next time i guess...

That would probably be the crew i was with.
We had over 30 AE86's at one stage :) (different
colours and engines)

I didn't see many Hondas but saw a white turbo integra and an oldskool red prelude with a phat frontmount (super clean!) at a carwash. Also saw a nice blue prelude with the plates CUDDLS or something like that at the gates of calder park.

We need to start a FWD drift team  j/k!
What's with the crazy arse weather in melbourne!!

(i heard they all got in bikinis and swam in the portable pool thing.. so cut i missed that)

and so are the drifters..

the r32 (i think chasers) had some damn power, to see it punch it before the hairpin was interesting..

Did you see the AE86s do show'n'shine laps?? hehe
We were getting busted for going sideways...

"You're not here to drift!"

Was good fun.
need NSX's and S2000's entering the comp!

If I remember right those Hachi's came from several other states as well. Yes, the R32 was rebuilt at Chasers before this event. The engine was out and in again within 48 hours[I think it was more like 24], and that takes some insane levels of skills and proficiency .

yeah it was hachis from nsw, vic, qld (1) and sa. (toymods crew) we should organise something like that!

less than 48 hours :eek:, it was running well too!

Ran like crazy bro, until Matty fragged the rears, he came off into the pits with the left rear's belts ripped up and dragging all over the place LOL. Yeah, it was actually 24 hours, bloody insane people work there.

Crap soo many sprinters. Any home else have any photos or even clips of the event. Heard they suck balls every year, so I didn't go.
