Guys, i have no idea. Looking at cheap way of lowering my car. Came across these on ebay...

Just wondering if they will do the job? Is it worth the money?

Tein S-Techs or Skunk2 Lowering Springs from ebay

they are a good price and quality parts ... but for real performance u will want some Koni or KYB shocks as well ... or just save up and get proper coilovers like Tein SS

Dont buy that nonbranded ebay shit.

A cheap and safe way is to purchase a set of springs. Should go for around $200-400ish depending on brand and condition.
Skunk 2, king springs, pedders are some options. Have a look at some traders on here. Doing this will wear out the oem shocks overtime.

If you want to do it properly, get a set of coilovers (shocks and springs combo) as the oem shocks arent made for aftermarket springs.

theres nothing wrong with those coilover sleeves if they are installed correctly but for that price theres no doubt that the springs will be shit and if you go lower they will ruin your standard shocks

If all you want is lower just get King Springs, $240 trade price and probably $400 installed. Will handle a tiny bit better than stock maybe.

Otherwise go coilovers for 2-4 times that price :)

u mad?

I think they're fine if:
a) you dont drive/corner fast.
b) don't care that your stock shocks will be leaking within 12 months.
c) don't mind the noise that they can make sometimes.
d) you know how to put them in yourself (and don't need to pay for labour)

i lowered my prelude then my mates civic its easy
i learnt it from youtube video
and trial and error
to save money buy a set of spring compressors from super cheap once done using them spray them with paint and refund them
my mates civic was lowered 2 inch just installing springs its acturlly fine but would look bettter with 2.5 inchs
cost all up 240 for king springs at auto excel

only thing is with springs you get more tire wear then coilovers and they are adjustable

Coilovers are the more expensive option, but you don't just gain a lower car out of it. you gain better steering and a more firm steady car on the road.
There easy to adjust height. and there even easier to adjust the damper.
I had king springs in mine though and i do admit you don't lose to much ride comfort.
i still got them, there just collecting dust at the moment.
Only were on the car for 3 months :P ;)

Good choice mate. Match it with some good after market shocks and your sweet.
