anyone got defected for driving around with the amber coloured foglights yet? thanks

you won't get defected, rather fined for driving around when road conditions don't warrant their use (no fog or very very heavy rain present)

can't be defected for them unless they're aftermarket and very poorly fitted to the vehicle in a manner where it would be deemed unsafe (big huge lamps hanging off of the front bar with incorrect holding points)

so would the normal white foglights be ok to drive with at night. becos there not that obvious. the foglights are the aftermarket from ebay direct bolt on. thanks

No, it's illegal everywhere in Australia, as from the beginning of this year, to drive with fog lights on when there is no fog - it's a fine and loss of one point off your license. That was set up after a meeting of state transport ministers last year. If you need better headlights, fit better globes (eg Philips Extreme +80 globes) or put thicker wiring and relays in to reduce the voltage drop caused by the thin Honda wiring.
