i have a carby EG civic, and planning a d16y4 or y8 conversion.
but am VERY confused how i will be wiring this up. since the d16 is obd2....
i have searched around but havent found any simple instructions, such as what harness to use and what needs to be changed....
any help is appreciated.

you probably don't want to hear this but what you want to do isn't simple. you probably also won't find instructions as such on how to do everything

No as the engine harness plugs in the body harness and with that kit i am guessing it goes from the body harness to the ecu, in which it misses out on a few of the important pins. check my signature page just to get a taste of what you have to look forward to.

I would contact ECUMAN about your choice in ECU and he can also provide you with a reco one also. as for the harness. I would use an EFI EG engine and body harness where possible. Ek have different shock tower plugs and possibly pinouts. Come down to it, you decide what its most possible for you and hack away.
