Hey guys,

Ive got rocky seats in my current ek4, the funny thing is that on my previous ek and eg i went thru two sets of seats which were all rocky on both cars. This cant be that common that ive always had rocky seats in all my cars is it?

Does anyone else have this rocky seat issue in their ek's or eg's? if it is a common problem is there any easy fix to stop it from rocking?

Hi BRU51N - I've had an EG and a DC2 Vti-R + two friends with EGs. Both my EG and DC2 had rocking passenger seats.

Both my friend's EGs also have rocking passenger seats. Strange - Only passenger seats in our cases. But seems common! Wonder if it's defectable!

If by rocky, you mean that when you grab the seat and yank it around, it rocks...

Yes, my passenger seat does it to, EG4...

I'm going to save up and get Bride recliners in mine anyway, so hopefully that will solve the problem.

I know what ya mean and it's annoying.

My old EK4 seats moved a bit but the Sparco seat is SO SOLID!!

I'm prepared to put up with the weight being 23kg because it is 1 solid unit and feels AWESOME.

I would swap seats to a bride or sparco if ya wanna fix it.

supose you're going to have to remove the seats and tighten up all the bolts as per specification, they can come loose with age

My EG driver seat rocks too. If I brake hard, the seat feels like its going to throw me out the windscreen. LOL
