Because of the whole kick in the guts factor, sounds like the carbys need rebuilding and checked

the carby needs a tuning mate.
take it to a mech and he'll sort it out
unlike EFI cars
Carby equipped cars need mechanical tuning everynow and then.

similar thing was happening to my carby ED before removing the motor. Usually when cold though, would sometimes just die at the lights.

Similar to what you've said though I knew I'd be replacing the motor so wasn't worth it to get them tuned. if you get them tuned post up if it fixed the issue.

Isn't the Civic breeze the 1.3L, and then the GL the 1.5L Carby?

no breeze are

1.3 twin carby from= 91 - 93
1.5 Single carby from = 94-95
mine is a 95 and it only has 1 carby

no breeze are

1.3 twin carby from= 91 - 93
1.5 Single carby from = 94-95
mine is a 95 and it only has 1 carby

thats incorrect. according to honda.com.au ---->

Civic Breeze Hatch

Body style 3-door hatch
On-sale dates Oct 1991 - Sep 1995
Engine 1,343cc SOHC 16 valve, 4-cyl CARB
Power / torque 55kW / 102Nm
Transmission 5-speed manual
Notes Oct 1993: Engine upgraded to 1,493cc (67kW / 119Nm)

Civic GL Hatch

Body style 3-door hatch
On-sale dates Oct 1991 - Oct 1993
Engine 1,493cc SOHC 16 valve, 4-cyl TWIN CARB
Power / torque 72kW / 122Nm
Transmission 5-speed manual / 4-speed automatic (optional)

Civic GL Sedan

Body style 4-door sedan
On-sale dates Oct 1991 - Oct 1993
Engine 1,493cc SOHC 16 valve, 4-cyl TWIN CARB
Power / torque 72kW / 122Nm
Transmission 5-speed manual / 4-speed automatic (optional)

so all breezes are single carb, oct 1993 it went from 1.3L to 1.5L. But they were still both single carb
