Engine Lights

hey guys, my engine oil light and check engine light is on.
my oils are fine, i think i short circuited something the other day, when i was wiring up a neon to my car.. what fuses or where do i check? could it be the cluster it self? because when i take corners really hard it turns off

Due to the fact the light does go away during corners, suggests low oil. Double check the oil level after car is at normal operating temp and engine has been off for 20 seconds. The power supply if the same powering your entire cluster. The switch simply earths the bulb. Did the issue occur straight after your neons? Just as general good practice though, check all fuses visually, under bonnet and under dash.

yeah it happend staight after i connectec the neons, im pretty sure i could have short circuited something, i saw a spark xD and when i turn on my headlights and fogs, i hear a whinning noise coming out of my speakers

rule 1 of working with ANY wiring in your car. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY!
