Hey guys, i seen you can buy a velocity stack for pods... I tried searching, i couldnt find much info about thebenefits of them... Can someone please share some details about it>

As far as I know it's just for use on the dyno,1/4 mile,track if ya not too worried about sucking in a pigeon :)

Thanks, yeah i was unsure if u mount this stack, and then the pod on top.. but then i seen pcitures of jsut the velocity stack.

Yeah,so the idea is the just swap that on for dyno or 1/4 mile,any other time is a great risk to ya engine.

If u can find a pod with a large enough inlet, im sure you can fit the pod over the velocity stack.. dont see why you would need to though..

If u can find a pod with a large enough inlet, im sure you can fit the pod over the velocity stack.. dont see why you would need to though..

yeah, i mean i dont see why you would need to run a filter at all heyy??
sorry if that sounded agressive...not tryin to take the shit. but the only reason racing cars dont use filters is cause the extra restriction from a filter isnt worth if when you consider the strain already put on the motor, ambient dust dosent do much. esp if theyre being rebuilt regularly. but for a daily why wouldnt you use a filter??

beeza: yeah, the clamp that fits around the filter attaches the filter to the outside of the velocity stack as opposed to the pipe.

Some pods like the Apexi have a built in mini-velocity stack too.

Yes its inside the filter, Exactly how I have posted. :thumbsup:

The Filter clamps on to the velocity stack.
