Hey guys,
just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience from installing an Apexi RSM onto an Integra Type S.
problems im having:
1) When starting the car, RPM on the RSM still shows 0.
2) When driving, my RPM Gauge is showing e.g. 3000rpm but RSM shows 700???
3) When driving 60Km/h, rsm shows 1500+ Km/h
Anyone know where to source a Type S ECU diagram?
Any help would be great!!
Thanks guys!!!

Is the RSM set up correctly? In the settings have you set it's a 4 cylinder etc.

yes, i had it put in by a mechanic, but they could only go by the wiring diagram for the JDM DC5 Type R (k20a). Since the Type S is K20Z1, would that mean there would be a difference in the pins on the ecu? i went on a few forums and managed to get a rough idea on what the pin is like but i can only find the RPM pin. By trial and error, i managed to find the proper RPM pin on the Type S ECU, had to shift the pin mentioned on the JDM DC5; 1 Pin to the left, and that fixed up my RPM display on the RSM. Now trying to figure out the correct pin for the Speed.
Anyone know where i can source an ECU wiring diagram for the AUDM Type S?
Thanks!

I got similar problem with my RSM as well. i bought it NEW, and do i need to reset or anything? It shows 20+km/h to 35+km/h while my car was Parked n not moving at all. Also my VAFC II, how do i reset it? After Installed it into my EP3, VTEC DOESNT KICK IN... bought it 2nd hand, and it got setting from previous car. Didnt really know wat car did it came off. Please Help, would be much appreciated... Cheers...

Hahaha, such a ricer thing to do. Theres already an OEM tachometer and speedometer in front of you laid out by some veteran Honda engineer with a triple degree in Japan.
Also can i ask why do you need a VAFC?

is yours a type R? I only figured out the RPM pin by checking out other model honda's ecu pinout. still cant seem to find any diagrams for the type s.

oh btw, VAFC dun work for i-vtec. any sort of vtec controller wont work unless its the proper ecu or piggyback. you'll need hondata or greddy red i think. heard mugen ecu was good too.
Always wanted an RSM when it came out day 1, but way too pricey. Finally got a good deal off a friend, so... why not?! XD
