after many rear wiper blades keep breaking i decided F*CK this im just going to remove it so here you go..

Aim: To remove Rear Wiper + Rear Wiper Motor + get some Pq points x]
Required: Ciggies,3/8 ratchet with 10 mm,23mm sockets, flathead or trim tool, screwdriver, alco, and rubber washer or delete plug ( i got mine from supercheap auto for like 5 bux but honda have genuine if your anal about that stuff

Step 1 :

-Open your boot and first LOOK at your trim if your not sure how to remove.
-Remove parcel tray/shelf * just push up and slide*
-then there will be a screw near the lock its very visible but i have taken a photo of it just undo that
-then with ur trim tool go around and undo the clips or yank off whatever your style is ( this will be removing the main cover).
- You can choose to take off the side if you want but its not needed.

Step 2 :

- Youl see the motor if you dont know what it looks like i suggest putting your car back together right now.
- there will be 3 10mm bolts which holds the motor sort of like a mount or cover. Undo them
- now go have ur alco and ciggy :)
-disconnect or cut the wiring as it wont be needed anymore unles your goign to re-install.

Step 3:
- By this time ur rear wiper motor should be hanging and loose.
- close ur boot and examine your rear wiper, at the very end of it is like the cover for the 23mm bolt.
- use ur flathead screwdriver to peer off that cover if your having a hard time just do it directly vertically as its got 2 clips on the side of it
- then youl be exposed to your 23mm bolt..Undo it ( if your having trouble place the mount and 3 10mm bolts back in handtight so u can crack the 23mm then remove all bolts.
- now to get the wiper off, push down on the end part and wiggle it, it has teeth so it wont just slide off it needs the force of pressure and it comes off quicker then VTEC YO x]

Step 4:

- now your rear wiper motor should slide out, you have to take the existing gromet/rubber off then itl all just pop off and youl be left with a hole.
-try find a grommet that fits it perfectly and watertest.
-if its all good put everything back on and have your final ciggy and say **** its clean now :)

Your comment is irrelevant to the topic, i notice you have a problem with me....why is that??

Im saying that its a good info for a DIY, unrealistic for a honda quality wiper to break but nevertheless its still informative to those who wants to remove it with different desires in mind.

No it not irrelevant. I actually find this information useful but wouldn't do it on my DC5R due to the fact it's handy to have a rear wiper.
My issue is that your always going on about things that people do to there DC5R's thats it not a "JDM" DC5R.. Big shit

@WATAJK .....are you alright man?, you say you've got issues with my comments so why bother replying to it?. hahahaha

You'll come across in life that people have different opinions so lets leave it at that, no one's forcing you to read my comments. hahahahaha

Highly doubt anyone would remove this with the objective, or even thinking of saving weight.
More like taking off a ugly wiper to make your car look better

First of all great honda quality wipers for breaking apart....

@ Najdi and Lowiez Hahahaha, you guys are taking me literally, im here for fun. I actually thought this is what Honda people are all about, FUN. I like how you said "It makes your car look cleaner" That wiper doesnt have anything to do with "looks", it serves a purpose you fool.

@ Lowiez: errr....would you take your front wipers off coz it looks ugly?

...oh and, i dont go boostcruising lol

And I can't see how you can say your first post was a joke? sure doensnt look like one.
Of course it has a purpose and to say it doesnt have anything to do with looks is a pretty good joke...if you can visually/physically see a DC5 wiper and make a mental judgement about how it sits on the rear window than it has something to do with looks

@ Lowiez: errr....would you take your front wipers off coz it looks ugly?

...because you care about the appearance of your car?

Someones got a bit of tendency to take things a lil too serious here. You take a lot of my paragraphs too literal, is that why you have to re-post it with a bubble?. Lmao....

I know you care about the appearance and seems to me you're more on the ricer side where looks is a priority and functionality is secondary.

A question out of the blue: Would your car happen to have a "red" H emblem for a type S, i saw a few weeks back?

Lowiez
21-07-2010, 12:49 AM
whether you want me to take your posts seriously or as a joke is your choice, if you wish joke it is lol.
What's wrong with quoting posts its the easiest way to respond to them

And i'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that i'm a ricer with function as a low priority but i'm just going to ignore that as you have no idea who I am or what i've done to my car.

Oh ive seen it around....you just dont know what goes on behind the wheel when we see it. LOL. You take care out on the road and have a good night buddy :)

where?

EVLGTR

where?

Oh. I thought you're going to ignore it?, dont worry, its an irrelevant question for an irrelevant answer. Stick to the topic

Lowiez

No no your eyes are playing up again, i ignored that you said I have functionality as a secondary.

More like you haven't actually seen me in person and saying so is just another line of bs you can add to your own list

@ Lowiez: you're off topic mate, yeah sure whatever you say that i havent seen you around. Maybe one day though, id love to go cruising with your kitted out FF. LOL.

Back to the topic, i still think this idea of wiper removal is just as riced-out as some people here with a Red "H" in their non-Type R
