is the block much different from the type R on the gsi?

how much am i looking at if i get a b18cr head, or even the b18c2, put on the gsi (head + ecu + wiring + labor) and lets just forget about the gearbox for now.

also why is the gsi 15mm longer then the vtir

and no i won't do a complete engine conversion, so please stick to the topic and don't suggest anything else/spam thanks i just want answers not discussion.

You'd be better off using a B16A head I think, apparently they flow a little better because of their design.

Also, you'd probably be happier putting the ITR GBox on first, great fun to be had from doing that :)

If ur not going to do cams you would be better off getting a b18c2 head rather than a b16a because the cams are better. also if u can find a cheap itr box that would good because u would have lsd
