Integra type r DC2/DC5 sunroof

I have been browsing and looking at '**LETS see some INTEGRAS! Post uP your DC2s, DC4s, DC5s , DA1's etc ..!!**' thread. I have noticed that some type r or what looks to be type r have sunroofs. I thought all type r dont have sunroof in both DC2 and DC5.

Could you guys please clear this up for me.

Some people say its factory optioned.
But I didn't know that it was an option from factory.

Afaik, some people get one via an after-market sunroof distributor.

Factory option. Was for DC2R not sure about DC5R.

I thought only base model and type s come with sunroof as factory option

type r didnt have it cos they were trying to reduce weight.... (this is what i read from other forums)

Thats exactly why its an OPTION.

Only found 1 DC5R with sunroof, but he got it put it by a shop.

Sunroof for a DC2R was a DEALER option and never a Factory option.

Sunroofs for a DC5R were DEALER OPTIONS.
And ALL DC5S had sunroofs. They came standard in all AUDM Facelift Integras 2005-2006.

That is an RSX and they all came with sunroofs except for some Canadian models.

Got a quote from them, $1395 fully installed. hmm... cheaper than i thought it would be. Now to convince the missus...

Prestige Sunroofs in dandenong is who i would recommend mate.
I think it was $2000-$2500 will get you on fitted. Warranty and all on it...

Well as far as sunroof's go for the DC5R, mine is custom im pretty sure. Saw the same design being advertised on a website.

So to clarify this.
DC2R sunroofs are DEALER options, which is basically aftermarket sunroof installed anyway.
DC5R sunroofs are also DEALER optioned, again with aftermarket sunroof installed anyway.

From factory DC2R and DC5R never came with the sunroof
but
the DC5S, and VTI-R DC2 came with sunroofs from factory.

my dc2r has a sunroof as the original owner fitted it from the dealership...... very rare to find a dc2r with one though......

a lot of the dc2's you see on honda-tech are just gsr's (vti-r) with facelifted bars and sidemoulds removed. they look exactly like a dc2r from the outside.

DC2 VTIR's came out standard with a sunroof from factory DC2R's NEVER did they were put on by Dealers.

i would rather a ITR with no sunroof they dont look good with them.

i like dc2r's with sunroof, but i guess you get over not having one.
