Hi,
I have a 2005 Honda Integra Type S and I am having difficulties finding a shift boot for sale.
Just wanted to know if the DC5R shift boot will fit into mine?
Thanks

Yes a DC5R shift boot will fit onto a DC5S. But it will be a bitch changing them over.
They are both held in by about 10 staples to a frame on the center console.
You will have to undo and redo these to change the shift boots as center console is different from a DC5S and a DC5R.
The shift boot includes the cup holders in a DC5R. The shift boot in the DC5S includes the panel under the handbrake.
The other thing you have to worry about is that a DC5R shift boot may sag on a DC5S.
The ugly plastic collar holds the shift boot up onto the shift knob on a DC5S.
In a DC5R the shift boot is held up from the inside, by the actual shifter.
