Can you communicate with the S300 with no dramas?

It's very straight forward, activate it, set the parameters and upload it.

im pretty sure you need a switch on your clutch pedal connected back to the ECU, so the ECU knows when to launch the car

Na you don't Ecu man. Well I think you can, but don't need. Its just a ignition and fuel cut at a pre-determined rpm. Theres are however number of settings.

OP, see below. What have you got the Launch Activation set to? Always on? If its Always on launch control is alway activated, and will work when below the pre-determined vehicle speed.

you need to first of all install clutch switch, then it needs to be configured in software.

You don't NEED a clutch switch as I said above. Mine was set as above. 'Always on', therefore anything below 10kph would activate launch control. Depends what the OP is trying to do, as yet he hasn't got back yet.

^ I can back this up, have had launch control set to always on and for it to be active as long as the vehicle is under 10km/h , set my desired rpm and works all day every day if I wanted it to

Why don't you lower the launch limiter rpm to something sensible & try again?
obviously it won't work at 8223rpm.... :p

Try this....

- always on (yes)
- invert output (no)
- Maximum speed - 10~15kph
- Launch Limiter RPM - 5000
- Fuel & ignition settings
Activation rpm 5500
Fuel 0 ignition 0

VSS is Vehicle Speed Sensor. If your speedo doesn't work, neither will this.
But you need to set the limiter below your normal rev limit 1st.
Hope that helps

also, if ur not in live/tuning mode, u will have to make changes, save ur file and upload it onto the ECU......

Yes you are doing something wrong. :p

You need to set the BOTH the 'Launch Limiter RPM' and the 'Activation RPM' to your desired launch rpm of 4102rpm. At the moment you have your launch set to 8223rpm. Thats why its not working, well it is working, but at 8223rpm.

Launch Limiter is the RPM it will sit on to launch.

Activation RPM is the rpm amount to activate your fuel enrichment and timing.
