Hi all,
Question - On a K-series engine, is there such thing as V-tec kicking twice within a lower rev range but then again at 5500rpm ?
I read on a thread (somewhere) that theres V-tec kicking twice on K-series..
Please advise, it'll be good to know. Thanks.

No, there is no such thing. The VTEC activating twice was only on the d15b.
On the K-series, you have:
1) Economy VTEC where the engine switches from 12 valve to 16 valve mode, usually at about 3xxx rpm. (Accord, CRV, Integra, Civic Sport)
2) Performance VTEC where the engine switches from low cam to high cam, usually at 6000rpm (depending on engine type). (Integra Type R, Type S, Civic Type R, Accord Euro)
