Qustn about B18A and B18B ROcker Cover

Are these the same As I just replaced my B18A which I managed to crack the crank in with a B18B but they used my original rocker cov is this going to match and seal everythin so as to not have any oil leaks?

i know someone that has the b18b rocker over on a b18a and i dont think they had any problems... so dont think youd have any probs if it was the other way round either..

NAh the one I have on it is like new besides its getting painted same 2 pack as the duco Ill post pick when finished , just having prob with leak and think its coming from rocker cov so Ill replace the gasket as I have allready replaced all seals when engine swap went through , Also running at calder on Friday to se if new motor will go better thatn 15.83 Previous motors best time.

they are exactly the same mate , you can even get away with the really new b18b covers like mine and the b20 covers of the crvs lol , no probs, even with boost just make sure youv got a good quality valve cover gasket.......http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v484/MUGEN_BOY/Picture035.jpg

my valve cover is off a b20 but was also use on late late jap b18b motors, its will fit fine and with a stock gasket...................

Sorry mate but if you actually read what he posted, he has a b18 a and was enquiring whether a b18b cover would fit. A b18c is DOHC VTEC and hence has a different layout. Please do not confuse the poor bastard!

thats the same with who ever posted that a b16a cover will fit,because they wont, covers off of b series vtec motors will not fit non vtec b series motors..........full stop, they have different bolt patterns on the cover its self ( aka holes in different spots for idiots , lol)

I wont be running till everything is tuned correctly and I can get a set of 15s to run on I want everything to be right before I run again so that way I know that I stuffed up for not doing the time that the car is capable of.
