BLACK!!
For the Accord Euro Luxury u got to say black... Its a good canvas to make it look more bling2... It looks real nice with the Tan interior.. But is hell to clean...
For the normal Accord Euro i'll say:
BLUE!! (Nice and Fresh)

Black with that cream leather does look the goods! I do agree.
I intend to get a luxury version!.
As for blue heard that has the worst resale value is that true ?

Go for Milano red if you can mate. The only unique color for 2005. Will look great with the beige interior- as long as you don't have young kids.
Blue is actually one of the more popular color of the Euro, as since the Euro blue is not a flat paint color, it will not turn matt and highlight all the scratches as other blues, which is one of the main reason some blue cars have lower resale value.
Really, Milano red looks the worst in my opinion. Suits the older driver with the lawn bowls hat. :)
Black is the best looking but needs a fastidious owner who washes the car weekly. Moreover, in the standard model the Black has velour interior that needs frequent cleaning to look good. It can also mark easily. If there was a Black on Black interior I would have gone for it (std model).
For me, Arctic Blue was the best compromise as it has the dark interior. I still get compliments on the colour 12 months after owning the car.
Silver is also nice and doesn't show up scratches as much as the darker colours. Premium white pearl is also worth considering and is the safest colour in the range from a road safety perspective.
You can't really go wrong -- not so sure about Milano red though.

i'd take satin silver metallic or graphite pearl. The only reason why i chose SSM over GP is both of the interiors are black, so the silver/black combo would be a better contrast than the overly dark grey/black combination...
i don't like milano red. looks too much like an econocar colour to me... SSM, GP, NHB, AB all look much more classy

go black if you don't mind the ivory interior.

Don't get Milano red.
It just doesn't go with the car at all.
A red car with chrome door handles and chrome window frames just looks crappy in my opinion.
I was going to get a black one but didn't like the wood trim as it makes it look like a car for old people. Also didn't want ivory interior and leather seats. If you wear jeans, especially on wet days, it'll probably stain the leather very easily.
Also, having washed my sister's black Citroen C2 a few times, I'm glad I didn't get black because I can't stand swirl marks being visible.
Didn't get silver because my previous car was silver.
Get either silver or graphite pearl

Get silver because it shows the car's nice lines and doesn't take as much work to keep it looking clean. It's also good in terms of road visibility as well as resale value.

Graphite would be great, but the silver has some class i think..it's like the same as the merc silver very classy and stylish
If it was me, I'd go white. :)

If you're going to modify it alot I would go with white - it gives you alot more options.

Found it surprising that no one like the new red. Wonder if everyone have seem in the the flesh yet? Maybe a pic will change your opinions?

Do keep in mind that it is a Type R being shown, although the color is the same.
To me this is this red will be one of the best color of the 2005 range, since it is so eye catching. I guess not for the shy type, and certainly not for lawn bowling gentlemen.

i think thats a Euro R dude
It sure is. BTW, also keep in mind that since the new red is a flat paint, you will have to polish polish and polish to get that bling bling.

Go Graphite Pearl, its v classy IMO, and also the darkest colour available with a black interior. Black is also very nice, but too bad about the beige interior. :rolleyes:

BTW, milano red comes with black interior- not beige as previously stated.
I've been told the new 17" alloys looks very similar to the Acura ones- 5 spokes star pattern.

Milano Red with EuroR kit + 18 rims would look bloody awesome. Definately worth considering if it comes with black interior.

Why is there no Euro R in Australia ?

16-12-2004, 01:29 PM
I was told by my dealer the most popular colour is Graphite follow by silver and then blue/white, the least popular..you've guessed it ruby red.
I'd get white if it comes with dark interior instead of ivory.

There no R's in Australia part from the teg and the imported civics. Inconclusion Australian law sucks.

1. Black :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
2. Silver :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
3. Carbon Grey :thumbsup::thumbsup:
4. Pearl White :thumbsup::thumbdwn: (if only it wasnt pearl but a bright white)
5. Blue :thumbsup::thumbsup:
6. Maroon :thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn:
7. Milano red :thumbsup::thumbdwn: . Looking at the Tsx's in the states, the milano red is pretty poor. It just doesnt cut it IMO.
Especially with the acura design multispoke 17's. (im assuming oz will get these on the euro lux in 2005, rather than another design or type R rims).
The stereotype about black paint is o so true, its a b*tch to keep clean and with sydney's water restrictions its even worse.
Seems my car is a bird shit magnet (especially the sunroof, luckily the birds are only on target when it is closed).
Now about the ivory interior, i like it, when i was shopping around the woodgrain did bother me aswell, but now i kinda like it.
One thing though the OEM honda mats are fragile. I've got what could be described as a bald patch where my right heel meets the mat.
I definately wanted ivory interior because ebony interiors seem to make cars feel castrophobic for me.
Goodluck with the choice.

yeh i rkn! the patch where my left heel meets the match (to use the clutch) has worn right off...
the quality of the pile is really nice.....as is the "Accord Euro" branding, but honda should put a plastic/rubber pad where your heels meet the mat....(like subaru)

I think every colour is good except for Ruby Red :P
Black is the most classy, and Artic Blue is the most sporty, imo. Silver is boring (but not bad), and Graphite is like a dirty black (for those who can't stand the ivory interior). White is alright, but I prefer the Championship White (on the ITR) more. And white on white interior doesn't really float my boat.
I have a black Euro....no regrets. Artic Blue would be my next choice.

choice.
The base model comes with aluminium/metal like console rather than the woodgrain, right?
Is it possible to specify that on the Luxury version?

Is it possible to specify that on the Luxury version?You can, but you'll be paying ridiculous amount of money.
I suggest you to forget about it.
After about 1-2 months, you won't notice it anyway.

I totally agree with you dude, I have recieved SO many compliments over the color, I took mine in to get a repair to the spoiler a couple of weeks ago after some stupid woman reversed into it with a bike rack... well the guy who did the repair mentioned how great the color was and what a nice car it was :)
The black looks good too, but the interior color choice is what threw me off, I like the black/chrome interior because it still looks sporty and nice. Don't like the Milano red color, I had a 2001 Civic that color and got sick of it after awhile, not only that you can only have the tan interior which reminds me of an old mans car... don't like it, takes away from the sporty look and feel.
I love the Arctic Blue, it looks great especially after a clean and polish, and is a good variety on all of the silver and charchoal Euro's you see going around !

What about Indigo Blue (I think only available for Luxury model). It's quite nice IMO, and the interior is black if I'm not mistaken.
