Hi guys installed injen yesterday wow what a noise but i have on e problem the sensor cable doesnt go into the grommet of the pipe properly its very loose and feels like its going to fall out.
Is this normal? Or should it go in and be very hard.

Im thinking of taping it up with duct tape.

Anyone with the injen cai please let me know cheers

install the grommet in first then you can put the sensor once its in. as show in the pics below (pics used from clubrsx)

What im trying to say is the grommet is in perfectly but the sensor cable that you stick into the grommet is very loose and fiddly its not in properly and ive pushed as hard as i can and wont go in.
what does the sensor do anyway? is it important

its a must to have the sensor plugged in. have you tried lube around the grommet to make it go in easier ?

i was in the same situation when i was installing my injen on my DC5R after when i put the gromet in, the sensor was like small and loose for it to stay in with the gromet. i looked at pics and diagrams of other cars of how it suppose to go in... id just duct tap it round the sensor so it holds in place with the gromet, never fall off...
