Low temp fan switch/thermostat

Hi, just wondering if anyone has a low temp thermostat and fan switch in the euros. Is it beneficial? The only info i could get was from the yanks, and they said it keeps the engine cooler by using up other resources.. bit noob so not sure what that means =S.

i have one of those installed.. its a novelty mod, unless we get one of those crazy 40+ summer days, i can't see how it will benefit.. mind you, if you wanna install it get ready for a full radiator fluid flush. not really worth it, spend your money on some other cheap mods instead

Euro's are known to be very temperature sensitive. Will this be beneficial just for maintaining power?
