Hi People, basically i want to lower my car (eg5 civic si) im wanting to get super lows. If anyone else has put super lows in an eg civic did they have to get camber kits etc... and how much all up did they pay, and what did you have to buy. :!:

i've been told that they still ride really well but the guy that said it has changed his shocks so i guess it would be a bit bumpy with stock shocks and super lows

with decent brand of shocks the ride is smooth

ride without aftermarkter shocks is like sitting on a tram.

just spring is not enough for handling......coilover is the way to go.

I dumped mine hard on superlows... here
(http://members.optusnet.com.au/%7Eakaisen/personal/civic/6.jpg)
i dind't use a camber kit but i noticed that, although centre of gravity was ALOT lower and there was *less* body roll, handling wasn't improved, just a different feel..

if your after looks only, go for it... prices as others have stated :)

what shocks did you use on that? that looks way lower than 40mm from stock height

i use to have a really low ride. it just wreckes your car if your doing aftermarket springs on stock shocks..
1. the shocks bottom out
2. your wheels sometimes (not all the time) scrape the walls of the wheel thing.
3. you go scratch scratch on every slope.. like every slope..
4. you cry when you look under your car and see all theses scratches on your skirts and lips ..
and it drives like well a dumped car. not a nice feeling.

wanna go low get something that can handle the height.. i say go coilovers.
