im currently in the market for coilovers, ive heard some good stuff about the KW coilovers.
but have really only read about feedback on european cars.
anyone used these coilovers on an eg civic hatch/sedan or dc2 chassis?
any feedback on pros and cons greatly appreciated.

LOL!!! it doesnt cost you arms and legs...

its the same price brand new for Tein SS for their Variants 2 which are just damper and height

3500 arround there is for their variants 3, damper, height, rebound.

I personaly had the variants 2 for my Jazz GE8
Good coilovers! i paid for 2400 installed here in perth couple year back
solid built, its made in Germans too (looveee the nazi aye?)

On the track evos that i rode on couple variants 3, is amazing! but also depends on the set up.. which you have to play arround with it alot to get to the point of your likeness

If it just for daily, show only no go ... get BC's coilover, what ever entry price is!
Slam and dump to the ground! lol.. ride quality? quiet good ;)

1 or 2 track days in 6 months? Variant 2! you wouldn't needed to get your head crazy just to get the settings right

Track dedicated car.. Variant 3

^^^ thanks for the input. I had my eyes on the variant 2.
Car is to be used as a daily which sees the track probably 3 times a year.
I'm contemplating between KW v2 or BC RSD.
Have heard of alot of reviews on the RSD, but not so much on KW on a Honda application.

Anyone else with reviews on KW coilovers on thier Honda ,
any input greatly appreciated.

Cheers

KW v2 probably extra 300-400 compared to BC RSD.
Kinda trying to justify paying the extra cash.

oh really? when i was shopping round for coilovers, tein SS were around $500 - $600 less than KW Variant 2...

it is towards the pricier end of the scale in terms of coilovers - thats wat i meant by it, not that its unaffordable by any means.

BUDDYCLUBs are taiwanese? o.O

im very tempted to get variant 3's because they have separate resevoir tanks :p looks sexy haha

KW can be sourced fairly competitively priced compared to other popular/well known brands. comes down to personal preference and people are scared to try something different in case they get disappointed.
atm im abit afraid the kw dont go as low as i would like for my daily duties :p

they can go low.. ;) do need to worry lol..

yes buddyclub are Taiwanese but their high ends stuff are still made in japan.

when i ordered my KW they have to ordered 1 and i waited for 2 weeks,
as they assemble them prior to order.. i do not know but yeah that's what they said (KW dealers in WA, wilkinson sus)

oh yea, im awaiting an email reply from wilkinson sus for pricing as im sourcing mine from the US...
atm a set from the US i believe will still be cheaper, for some reason majority of AUS dealers/traders have a huge mark up price compared to US.
in response to the 'assemble prior to order' i think because the KW coilovers do not come assembled in the box as you need to use ur current top hat/pillow ball mount to put it all togeher.

No one else have used KW suspension on their eg civic or dc integra?

anyone got pics of eg civic/dc integra using kw suspension?
i have friends who have experienced purchasing coilovers and for some reason the rears do not go that much lower than standard
that scares me xD

Search around site like passwordjdm nengun etc
ATM cheapest I've found is on US eBay.

check swappedhq.com, doesn't seem all that exxy from there for good coilovers anyway

There u go. I've managed to offer an eBay trader down to 1,500 USD.
Anyone know if 88-89 model civics(ED/EF) civic suspension bolt straight on to eg?

Had a chat to one guy on a us forum that the EG model KW don't really go low at the rear.
Hence he bought EE/ED, which is the overseas equivalent to our ED/EF correct?
