Hi. i have 94 civic. not sure what alarm i have. But my alarm has been turning on by itself, even after i have started the engine. Around 1 min later the alarm would arm itsellf and the indicators would flash.
I cant drive around as the indicator would just keep flashing until i unlock the alarm but after it will arm itself again.
I have unplug the fuse for now.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Can i just get a switch in line with the fuse so i can switch it on before i leave the car?
Everthing else works fine for the alarm. it just wont dissarm for longer than 1 minute.

Wiring issue i suspect. The alarm control unit must be getting its constant power but might be missing its ignition signal or even the door switch signal too (very suss if you see 2 wires from the control unit being twisted into on power wire from the car). just a quick check to be carried out and see if there is a valid ignition signal to the alarm. While you are under there, see what brand it is and see if wiring schematics are available. GL

OK. i dont know much as the mechanic tried to bypass my immobiliser cause he thought that was the car of the car not starting after doing compression test.
Turns out it was bad coil. so i had that replaced. But alarm is wrong now. I asked him to fix but he say the alarm is faulty and its better to replace than to fix.
But i want to know if there is a cheap fix. Or any place to get it fixed for cheap?
And Can i just run a switch to the fuse so i can just turn the alarm on when i leave my car for a while. And i just switch it off during driving?
Is that safe? as i can do it myself and it will be cheaper.

would be great if you could find out what brand it is. maybe the module is faulty causing to keep auto arming or might be a simple wiring error. you wont really know if its cheap to fix until u can find out the problem.
running a switch to turn off the alarm pretty much defeats the purpose of having an alarm so might as well just disable it completely until u get it checked out.
