Too small! 19" minimum!
Stock lux size is 18x8, might need to go to that for 'legal' 98 rated tyre choice.

Will 19" affect the warranty if anything happen?
I am going for 18" because I want to re-use the stock tyre as it's still very new.

I wouldn't think so. you might want to call honda australia and see. If they can attribute a failure of something due to the non-oem item, warranty is voided on that item.
In the eyes of the law, as long as you retain a 98 rated tyre, 19" is legal. Problem is, I haven't seen a 98 rated 19" or 20" tyre.

those 18's you picked look good too!

I believe Austyre make a 98 load rating in 19's & possibly 20's, but they are a cheap & nasty Chinese tyre that I wouldn't use on a box trailer. As for quality brand tyres in 19"s or 20's - none available at the moment.

Just go with the 18s...19s too expensive and hard to get right tyres , and 18s look better if you're not lowered. That design will look nice in 18s on the CU2.

hmmm what about with RE050A 245/40/19 98W? Calculated using miata.net calculator, its only 1.5% slower (if speedo said 100km/h, you actually run @ 101.5km/h)

I think its pretty decent considering OEM 17" to OEM 18" have 1.8% difference...

will it fit? that is the question...

Just found out... This rim doesnt come in 18x8.
They only have 18x7.5 or 18x8.5
Which 1 should i go after?

I have Works XT7 on 18x7.5. works fine with CU2. but 18x8 is the best option
