Hi all,
I only started noticing this a few weeks ago. When I start my car in Perth it idles at 1500-1800 rpm from first turn of the key, but after running it for a while it drops to a normal 750rpm. I normally start my car with my foot on the clutch and car in neutral. Now this is the weird thing, when I started my car a few weeks ago in Melb it idles at the 750rpm right away. Now I'm just wondering is it possibly because Perth is higher in altitude than Melb or is there something wrong with my ride??

Btw can anyone recommend a good honda tuning specialist/mechanic in Perth??

Forget the specialist, first you should clean you IACV (idle air control valve). Theres a DIY here somewhere, let me see if I can find it.
