after this point you may notice i have painted the brake calipers that where previously red (now lack) i cleaned up all the brake pads cause they where sprayed while in the caliper still last time, which i only just did today and am quite pleased with the way it turned out , what you cant see is the hail damage all over the car which i intend to fix and am working on getting a new boot to start with but its traveling quite slowly as im quite stingy, i also replaced the shity blue little neon lights that where the normal parkers, with proper roadworthy lights, god knows how they passed road worthy anyway. lol and yes i will wash the car soon, im waiting on a call back from a guy to give me some details on new centre caps and wheel nuts cause cause these ones are quite damaged

um i dont have an ipod lol, i am planning to get the proper cup holder thing for the center cause i recon that black thing thats been slapped there, which isnt even properly on looks shit.

yeh the red brakes did look tacky especially with the pads not even being pulled out when it was last sprayed.

also the grey part is a carbon fibre lip, which i though was a nice touch, and when i bought it the guy gave me some king srings he had on it previously but apparently they lower the car by about 50mm, which would be very impractical i thought and apparently king springs are shit anyway.

Buy some Meguiar's foaming leather conditioner and condition your seats. That way they dont crack from top down action :)

Looks like you got yourself a good deal, the car looks in great nick. the center console looks like new, I wish mine looked like that and I love the rays wheels, they look awsome. But I have to agree, you need to lower your ride! and Id also paint the carbon fibre lip black as well. it looks a bit funny having the 2 tone black to greyish black. Especially when the car has such a beautiful shiny black coat, the lip dulls it out a little. well thats my opinion anyway. everybody has different taste.

i reckon this is true too, espec after seeing the car in person

however the lip's CF pattern is nice - if you could get matching side skirts and a rear lip in the same CF (and a spoiler too), i reckon it'd look awesome in CF. the lip looks a little lonely compared to the dark shiny black..

your right about almost everything but i should mention that the red centre console is no longer red, but i think you will find 'euromandeluxe's' looks rather similar =P, i now have full black interior, so the centre console is now black as well, as far as lowering the ride goes your spot on, but to lower it i need to get the right size tyres for the rear which are currently to wide, and then i need to buy the springs but its all a matter of money, and with painting the carbon, i need to buy a new boot and bonnet (because of hail dmg) which i would like to get carbon of, so it would be better off waiting till i get them, and then painting all carbon parts black in one go.

^ Yerp, I think those sort of mods have only proven to remove about 90kg.
Dry weight is 1255kg no driver.

Still a good 60kg to go before you even get close to the low 1100's without a driver.

o btw in the honda s2000 manual at the back it has a listing of the weight for all different spec s2's the jap one weighs in at about 1256 i think, and the aus one is about 1272.
