Always more problems!!!

My civic has yet more problems, i believe its cursed!!

Anyway i found out today that my thermo fan isnt workng due to a screwed temperature sender/sensor?? The part is new from honda for about $96 and wreckers about $50, and i was planning on replacing this myself and was wondering if anyone else had done it before? Obvious the coolant must be drained, but its pretty straight forward yeah?

Also my clutch is squeeking, i noticed this when the car was off and i engaged the clutch. The sound appears to be comming from around the actual clutch rather than just the pedal, and the fluid level seems to be fine.

Anyone wanna help?

I dont know what you need but if you need the "screwed temperature sended/sensor" is the fanswitch, you could get the Mugen one that NEWKON is selling for $96.

As for the clutch i think it just needs a bit of WD40 sprayed. Mines squeeking to. Sounds like its a bit dry.

you do not luve the clutch itself - i think you are reffering to the release bearing ? OR the clutch pedal ?

$95??? very odd... i bought one from Honda for $60 brand new (yes the same honda that tried to get $395 for an O2 sensor off me)

Molybdenum disulphide is your friend.
Pivot ball of clutch release arm needs lubricating...
Put up with it till your clutch is shot & sort it out then...
WD40 will help for a day or so, in the long run it'll make the problem worse, more rapidly.
If you're a lazy bum, & can't be bothered waiting to change theclutch etc...
Use graphite spray with a straw attachment on the end so as not to get any on the friction disc. ;)

you dont need to drain the coolant to change the sensor,
with a cold engine and the radiator cap on, unscrew the switch take it out, then put the new one in. watch the threads not to cross thread them.

I recon that is, as long at there is a TW sensor under the distributor ( looks the same )
