engine whine

hi all, ive had a 04 lux 6mt for about a month and ever since ive had it ive always noticed this whining noise throughout the rpm range and it also gets louder as the rpm is going up

does anyone else have this problem? Is it normal?

Think it from the chain driven timing belt. Most K series motors sound the same

check power steering fluid? does it happen when you take your foot off the accelerator?
