Hello to the world of Honda Performance Upgrades.
I have a 1990 3rd Gen Prelude - Stock as a rock
Does anyone know if it is possible to mount a B16 or B18 vTec exhaust manifold onto a B20a head ?
This will give me a few option for horsepower increases on a resonable budget

the B20 in the 3rd gen Prelude is not considered part of the B series family (b16a, b18c, etc.).
I don't think it will fit.

I know there is no difference between between any b16 and b18 exhaust manifolds ( inlets are mostly not interchangable )
Reseason for asking is a friend at a local wrecker has a Trust manifold to suit a td03 or td04 (mits EVO turbo ), odd intercooler pipes and dump pipe off a b18. I will be able to get it on the cheap and already have an piggy back ecu to run the show >>> Turbo here i come for cheap.
HELP ME PLEASE

It won't fit the 89-91 prelude motor.
will fit the crv based b20's though. (b20b & b20z)

Has anyone in Melb got a manifold off a B16 or B16 sitting around so I can make a cardboard template > Six Pack for your time

My research has come to a end. It is still a mistery if the B16/B18 manifold will fit BUT ..............................
a H22a manifold can be reworked to adapt.

This is proof and a mega cheaper way to buy tube headers and turbo exhaust manifold than having to have a custom one made. I will be ordering a cast H22a/T3 manifold this week end.
This is the one I am look at ($120.00 USD + $50.00 postage)
