I can afford one of these at the moment, not really that into buying a body kit, just not sure out of the coils or rims.
Its for a 1991 honda prelude.
So im in a dilemma.

Thanks for any suggestions.

if u add rims ur gona slow ur car dwn coz the added weight to the wheels makes a big diifference so id say do ur suspension first/ brakes or do some bolt ons on your engine.
but up to u if ur all for looks rims rthen coilovers
good luck!

no.. getting bigger rims won't really 'slow' your car down, it's not really noticeable but you might have an increase in fuel consumption. In regarding to what parts to get first its really your own preference, but its probably the smartest to get coils first, and then you can test fit your rims to make sure there isn't any scrubbing etc.

for you coilovers first.

if it were me i would just slap on kings if your not going to track your car.

coils...then decent brake pads...then rims with decent tyres...

I would get springs, but that combined with the aftermarket shocks i would have to get aswell, would be near the price of coilovers.

I already have good break pads so coils will be first.

Do you want your car to handle and look stock or Look good and handle stock ?

I prefer the handling over looks, but performance is king

Yea, well I used to have 17" rims I like the stock rims I'm using now, but he coilovers will give it enough to look good in my eyes.

depends what u want to use the car for.

If its just looks, just whack on some springs n save urself money. Then u will have some money left for ur body kit as well.

I can't just get springs, i would need after market shocks as well which would be near the price of coilovers anyway.

I would go bolt-ons, rims, coils, kit last (to be honest kits just aren't my thing anyhow so probably never for that one).

Rims for Civic I'd probably not go bigger than 15 or 16". I have 17" from previous owner (too gutter rashed to sell I think) and IMO they make quite a different to fuel economy.
