hey all,
got a problem with my right headlight.
everynight when i go home, it doesn't turn on but high beams work.
however if i vtec it, it turns on. any ideas?

i've tried turning on/off while its out nothing happens same thing when both are working.

i've tested it in the mornings both lights turn on, just at night it doesn't want to until 5500 is passed :)

Have you tried changing bulbs?

Power short in the wires somewhere? Kinda funny, never heard of this before lol.

rofl.

VTEC just kicked in yo !

Wait. As said above , there is clearly a grounding issue. Check all known grounds in and around the headlight areas

Yeah that's the word I was trying to think of...'ground' <lol>

Had a mental blank...

yes the situation is quite amusing and fun, so a grounding issue. the only ground i know of is the one that attaches to the rocker cover, locations of others?
if it was a grounding issue, wouldn't that affect the high beams as well? both high beams work fine.
no i haven't tried changing light bulbs yet.

should probably clarify, after the right head light turns on it stays on. it doesn't turn on and off as i engage and disengage vtec.
