DC5R need an alarm?

Ive currently got an 04 DC5R just wondering if it is necessary for me to install an after market alarm system or is the factory good enough to do the job?? Is factory fitted with an immobilizer as well??

mate. No one can tell you if its necessary. Do you want the extra layer of security or not? If you do, then go and get one... otherwise just live with the Honda Immobiliser...

Anything can be gotten, but to have an extra layer of security never hurts.

I got the stock immoboliser plsu alarm + a kill switch with a backup.
Entire car is dead :)
