send an email with the engine and vin no. to honda and they'll confirm it

are you talking about the motor or the shell?

if DC2R motor, its usually stamped B18C (in Aus, B18C7)
then a bunch of numbers under it

if its a DC2 vtir, has a B18C1, then a bunch of numbers under it.

[DC2-PWR]

if its a DC2 vtir, has a B18C1

B18C2 is the Australian version, B18C1 is the american version (GSR).
