I'm hans from Malaysia. I driving euro CL9 model 2005 which I bought in Canberra while I study down there. Recently, I am facing a problem with my APP sensor. After diagnose my car, it was a APP Sensor A-B faulty. The problem seems to become regularly since two months ago and honestly, it become nuisance because I need to restart my car every times it happen. The fault code is P2138 and Honda Malaysia Service Centre informed me that I need to replace the APP sensor. The problem is, Honda Malaysia cannot provide any parts from imported model. I have to get it by my own. I still have friends in oz and certainly they are more than happy to assist me. But, I must supply my friend the part number first to check the availability and of course the cost. Can anybody tell me what the part number is?

Part number is : 37971RBB003 ( I assume its the Accelerator pedal sensor? )

Price I got from Homebush Honda is : $300

But if you get your friends to call around they should pick up a cheaper price.

out of curiosity how much did it cost you to ship the car back to Malaysia?

With that part number (on the label it says 37971-RBB-003), you will be able to get a Honda parts dealer to order it in for you. There is one in SEA Park.

No, it's in Malaysia. Sea Park, PJ, Selangor. They should have it since the same part is used in the 2.4L Thai Accord if I'm not mistaken.
