I was just looking at the Civic VTI's on "car sales" today and all of the 1992-1996 civic VTI seem to have SOHC engines. So my question is that, are all the aussie B16A2 engines SOHC?

VTi's have the D16Y8 SOHC VTEC motor.

VTi-R's have the B16A2 DOHC VTEC motor.

No need to shake head - Its because Australia is the ODD one compared to the rest of the world.

A Civic VTi in other parts of the world come with the B16A engine, the D16 SOHC VTEC is actually an ESi, the non VTEC D16 - LSi
As always, Honda Australia tries to pass off lower models as top models.
