alternator for eg civic

Hey guys my alternator decided to die on my d15b7 and i was wondering if any d series alternators work (efi,carby) on my engine.

Hey, im not too sure. but i believe they should?

BUT i'd recommend just going to a junkyard or finding the same model alternator

the alternator may be the same but keep in mind that plug that attaches to it may be different from different D-series equipped cars. I'd say anything from an EG model should be fine

i learnt that the hard way today lol. the eg civic carby ones look identical but have 3 wires coming out of the socket where as the efi eg civics have 4 wires and are a little bit bigger then the carb version.
