Alright RTA aint open so i can't call for all u haters

Anyway, When you buy custom plates, where do the old plates go? Do you sell them back to RTA or do you just give em back?

And if u keep the normal plates, does it stil cost money keeping them? Or if i sell the car, and want to keep the custom plates, do i get new standard plates, rather then keeping the old normal ones?

And when you buy/sell custom plates, how does that work? is there RTA paperwork to fill out? right?

And about trading cars? how does this work? do you both fill out the Selling/Buying slips and exchange keys and then go to the RTA just as you would if u just sold your car and bought ur car? :S

And what price do you put for what you paid for the car? just the cars value?

If u buy custom plates u have too give the old ones back. The Rta will never pay u for the plates you hand in. As for keeping the custom plates u have too pay the Rta too put them into storage then order new ordinary plates for the car ur trying too sell (again more money to the Rta). Not too sure how the buyin of custom plates works but when u trade cars you just fill out the rego papers then go too the Rta and transfer them over. Put a cheaper price than the car is worth otherwise u will get charged alot more than u need too pay
