Yes that is correct. As manufactured by Toda Japan the header is not fitted with a cat. However you can get one fitted without too much hassle, generally along with a flanged donut gasket joint to allow some flexibility because the cat install necessitates the removal of the flex pipe.

Only problem youll encounter is youll have to modify the catback if youre going to add a cat of your own.

I think most headers that are effective for the k20a is catless. A cat needs to be fitted on.

And if you dont. Youll have a permanent engine light. Cause it has 2 o2 sensors. 1 for AFR (air fuel ratio) and 1 to tell the ECU if the cat is working or not. Just an emmisions thing.

An exhaust shop can do it, but I believe the fellow at Toda Au can sell you a pre-modified Toda manifold with quality metal cat attached. He is a trader on this forum: LINK (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?61925-TODA-Racing-DC5-road-headers-incl-cat.)

Alternatively Mugen, Maxim Works and possibly Feels make exhaust manifolds with cats included but they are expensive.
