hey

just wondering for the eg6 cluster that lights up amber, is it possible for me to change the colour lighting from that red look to say a blue??

and will everything work if installed into a honda civic 94 breeze hatch???

is it just plug and play like a normal cluster???

and lastly, do i need to adjust the fuel, temp, speedo etc gauges to work on mine correctly, like lets say i got a full tank and the eg6 cluster is reading on half way and when i install it will the gauge go up to full??

sorry people for these noobie questions, kinda new to all this.

thanks in advance.

straight fit.

and to change the lights you just buy a kit from ebay. comes with all the shit you need

shouldnt have to play with anything. fuel gauge and everything should match up.
fuel level problem lies in your tank with your sensor not working properly and not the cluster.
goodluck

you can change the backlight very easily, there are a few screws at the back of the cluster where you can fit new bulbs
have a look at this DIY:

Fuel gauge resets and adjusts once plugged in
changing bulb colour will change colour of cluster however it does have a red/amber tint. So putting a blue bulb will cause it to change to whatever is in the colour spectrum. U can buy the Kit as mentioned but don't expect it to be brighter, the eg6 cluster has a resistor which means thedimmer doesn't work nor will brighter bulbs make it brighter
unless u have a b18c engine why bother having an eg6 cluster

nope, u cannot control the lighting level, jdm spec cars such as the ek9 and eg6 didnt have dimmer. putting super bright bulbs or leds wont wont, due to the resistor.
as far as it being bright enough, well depends on whether u been eating plenty of carrots. lets just say that in certain levels of light, or darkness, say early evening when there is some sunlight, but getting dark, too dark where u need ur lights, then turning on the lights wont make the reading of the dials any easier. but if ur driving out in the nullabor plain with no streetlights at all, then its plenty lit up. also, lots of streetlights or shop lighting along a busy street such as cruising down george st or whereever young fellas go to cruise wont make the dash lights any easier to read
hope that helps, its a bitch i know, but what can u do

ssshhh, never knew that man, thanks for heads up. might as well get myself the normal eg cluster with the black dials, which i already bought but stuffed it up while trying to place white dials. -_-
