K20 head on K24? your thoughts?

Hey guys was thinking of putting the K20 head on my euro engine so i can rev it high =] just wondering if its a good idea and where can i get a K20 head? and how much?

Not really about revving high. Youre only revving 1K rpm more than an ordinary k24. Its more about revving higher reliably.
I think theres a k20 head, port flowed for a few grand on the parts for sale section.

Worth the money for an n/a build, to squeeze every little bit out of the engine.

Or you can go to a wrecker, find a statuatory written off dc5 n get the k20a3 head. Put k20a2 or k20a internals, port the head and youre off.

You can run aftermarket valve springs , cams , type R valve spring seats , aftermarket retainers to rev higher on stock k24a3 . You dont need to change the head into k20a one.
Proper ECU tuned is needed.
