indicators not working

im working on a 90 model camry. (yes i know its not a honda) the indicators arent working. the fuses are good, relay is clicking on an off which means the switch is good, apparently the indicators would sometimes work then sometimes not, now they arent working at all. Any ideas?

Short to ground. Or open circuit to ground.

Poor ground counts for probably 80% of intermittent problems.

yeah thats the sort of line i was thinking. i need another test light. some bastard snaked mine at work
