Hey guys and girls,

I have searched far and wide throughout these forums but haven't found a thing.

As most of you know, I drive a DC4 Integra GLi (Yes it is a GSi, but the decal seems to have faded to a point where it says GLi)

Unfortunately, I am failing epically at parking (I have caused scarring to the body, right between the driver's door and the rear wheel well, as well as amputating the rubbing strip from the same panel, I did this trying to get into my own garage). My poor parking skills are starting to make me nervous about taking the car out of the house.

So I've decided to buy a $500 NC Fairlane (on gas) and practice my parking in that (If I can park one of these, I can park anything), and I will mod the Integra like crazy (when funds permit - Coles casual wages don't pay much) and race it.

I am planning to put a K-series inside, and keep the car N/A, but we all know that the high output K20s (from the DC5R/DC5S) are rare. The solution: The K24 from an Accord Euro!

I would expect that a front cut from an Accord Euro would cost less than a front cut from a DC5R/S, as the Euro is just a regular family car.

To make a long story short, how much (on average) would a manual front cut from an Accord Euro cost? I can't really find any info on the net about it. I would expect that labour costs would be similar for other engines.

My other question is, how should I remove the GSi sticker from the back of the car, as I said before, it's sort of faded. Do I just use a hair dryer to try to get it off, or is there a better solution?

Apologies for my rambling, I'm half asleep (I can't sleep tonight).
Thank you for attempting to read

why buy a euro front cut? just wait patiently and you should be able to get a statutory write-off euro from written-off car auctions which would be cheaper, and you would also be able to get some of your money back by selling whats left over on the euro.

dont mind me but you cant park and you wont to put a k24 motor in an integra......

but if you are truly looking to do a k24 drop then you should look in the auctions as grifty said you can pickup a stat for around 6-9 depending on condition

Just remember to budget about $10k+ to do a full K-series converison - along with all other associated bits you'll need.

I should've thought of that!! I just had a look at Pickles and they seem to have a [repairable] 2005 Euro in the local area: http://tinyurl.com/2eqpgtx

I'm trying to practice, I've only had my Ps since early March

Maybe I should save for 1-2 years... damned $11.93/hour casual Coles wages. But the good thing is: By the time I can afford the conversion, I would be able to park perfectly.

Thank you guys!! You're far more constructive and helpful than members of other (non car related) forums.
