Hey there guys, really looking into this 3rd gen prelude, 90 Si 4WS.

Just wondering what to look out for?

Going to look at it saturday, called the guy up and there are 208000 on the clock but the instrument cluster has gone and its not working, how much will it cost to fix? possible to do by yourself?

And also the air conditioning is messed up, something about tx valve. Not having Air conditioning isn't a big problem, just the cluster.

Thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Is it just the Speedo? or the entire cluster. Speedo may mean it is your speed sensor, or cable. Quite common, and not really expensive. About $100 bucks if you can DIY. Cluster about the same. Cluster shuld set you back about $50 from a wrecker, but if EVERYTHING on the cluster is gone that a little werid. Would be getting it checled before i buy.

The 3rd Gen Preludes are a bitch to work on. Very cramped under the bonnet and part new are not cheap. Even some wreckers think they are still a $30,000 are try to charge that way.

There is very little aftermarket mods out there and that one reason I choose a 3rd Gen. Dont pay too much more than $2k for one. Here what you get for 1K
