Hi guys,

Before you flame my post, I have searched for information in regards to my problem, but there is no real answer as of yet.

Problem: I have to pass the pits the get my car registered. Everything on the car is fine even though it has an aftermarket bodykit, springs and exhaust. Here in lies the problem though my exhaust b-pipe is about 8cm off the ground being the lowest point on the car. The DPI has these 10cm concrete blocks that your meant to drive over as well to pass.

My thoughts into the matter. I don't have stock exhaust (which I have read is the thing to change back first) however I do have my stock springs. My car currently runs Tein S Tech Soft JDM.

Here's my question if I change back to stock springs will that give me the 2cm I need to pass, and is it safe to use spacers in place of shockies to pass the car?

One further thing is there a how to change springs anywhere on the forum or will I have to buy the haynes manual? Does anyone know what the tool for changing the springs is called? It compresses the spring so you can put them on.

Does anyone know any honda performance/tuning guys in Perth? I've been asking around and it looks like getting a stock exhaust is the go. But where to get one in Perth thats the question.
