Boot stuffed !

Hey guys, I own a 1995 EG civic hatchback and today I encountered a pretty big problem with my two piece boot. The left hydraulic has unbolted itself from the window, upon further inspection it seems that the threads for the hole in the window are totally gone but the bolts okay, so basically what I need to know is how I can fix this? If you look at the civic rear windshield there are two black plastic circles in the bottom left and right corners, this is the component that I think is broken.

you probably can get new ones from honda parts and accessories. try giving them a call. it cost about 40 bucks for a pair.

aha thanks mate, i'm just wondering where do i find replacements? would I have to go back to the dealership?

nah, just go to a wrecker, maybe ones that specialise in hondas would be good like hondaspares or someshit.
but yeah, they easy find.

Happened to mine after i bought my EG.
Only had 1strut- then kept using that and then it gave up.

Costs me 15bux each from honbits.
Easy fix. they had them brand new too.
