thats a good point, never considerd that before. taking sussy out of a car that weighs 1100kg and puting it in a car that weighs 1000kgs would deffinatly make it sit higher

might want to check the actual springs inside the shocks. sometimes if they have been removed and put back in, the springs might not be sitting correctly on the shock itself.
hope that makes sense

no they normally sit a bit higher and looks silly
40-60 a kg will not make a diiference in height between the 2 cars
but with the actual spring rates of the dc2r springs mite
just get some 1inch drop springs will look normal again
or even better 2 inch drop

Change all 4 so you know they're new and in good knick. King's will set you back around $240 if you get them from somebody at trade price I think. Fine for street performance/looks.
i have a set in my EG atm. compared to my old stocks, both front and rear looked a bit lower. But it couldve been just my old shocks that were ****ed. :S
Sorry to highjack your thread. But how does ur suspension feel? Mines a bit bouncy and more stiffer, however it doesnt perform that good?

Sorry for Highjacking aswell.
d16, if you just upgraded shocks and spring your car won't handle as good as you maybe expected. Get some dc2r front and rear sway-bars and you will definitely see the difference. And maybe some front and rear braces.
I did this on my car, and I'm sure it handles a lot better than most eg's on the road (except those with the same set-up as mine but with coilovers).
Do you know if its direct bolt on for both front and rear sway bars?
I heard i new a new subframe for the rear :S?

front swaybars should be straight bolt-on, the rear swaybars you will need to purchase a beaks reinforcement kit or an asr brace. I'm using a beaks kit. But I recommend you get the asr brace. I've read that the asr should be pretty much bolt-on. on the other hand the beak reinformance need a bit of drilling and removal of some nuts on your subframe.
Make sure if you buy the swaybars that it includes the d brackets and endlinks.
