do a search for carby's in these forums. do you have the twin carbs or the single one? Or go to the articles section of the forums. Dual Carb has written up an article on modding the twin carbs air filter using small motorcycle filters directly attached to each carb throat. I have seen someone else who hasn't gone this far but have replaced the stock filter with a K&N equivalent and have drilled large holes around the edge of the air box. Check out his article for reasonings behind these mods. If you have the single downdraught carb there are other alternatives to the stock airbox and filter. However once again the pod might not be the best way to go. I am planning on fitting a different filter soon. I can let you know how I go if you like.
