how to look fora type r's authenticity

well it has the import plate on it but just says honda integra :(... might just have to send the vin away then , or can i do it over the phone?

Thats not a real way of telling cause, you can actually get those off halfcuts or ebay or something'

yes u can get it easily.. but the plate will (or should) match the firewall vin number.

harder to change
JDM type R's dont have a rear wiper or rear wiper nozzle which means theres no switch for it aswell.
All JDM DC's rear number plates are screw onto a bracket that is on the rear panel and not the rear bar like the audm ITR's

easy to change
Check for coin compartment covering the fuse box on the right side of the dash.
180km cluster
all jdm itr's 96 or 98 spec have prefacelift rear taillights opposed to the audm facelifted pink ones.
jdm flare
jdm parking/rego/service stickers
Jap writing on sun visors
jdm wheel place card
no cluster dimmer
