Hi ppl.
My 2001 model VI civic is making this funny noise.
When the car is stopped, if I turn the steering wheel from left to right(fast). There is a click sound coming from the left hand side. It only makes the sound when the car is stopped. It drives fine and straight.
any civic owner would have any idea what could this be?
thanx in advance

might need to tighten the rack bolts, or try tightening front cross member and sway bar bolts

Yeah CVs only click when your turning and move at more than 10km/h on full lock. Yeah trying tightening all the steering rack bolts. also check your powersteering fluid is topped up. If its not that then take it to Honda or a decent mechanic and get it looked at.
What are you doing turning the wheels when the car has stopped anyway? Its not good for the wheels

Could be the clock spring inside the wheel?
possible rack problem?
